Thank You for Supporting our Carnation Day Street Appeal

The Society would like to thank each and every volunteer for your time and effort in making Carnation Day a huge success.  On Friday 2 September we had over 350 volunteers, including high school students, local MPs, Society members and community volunteers.  Together they collected over $25,000!

The Society would like to thank the following schools and organisations for their generosity in organising collection points throughout the region:

Christchurch Boys' High
Rangiora High School
Altrusa International
Lions Club of Rangiora Pakeke
Lions Club of Rangiora
Lions Club of Hanmer Springs
Malvern Lions Club (Darfield)
Rotary Club of Lincoln
Lions Club of Kaikoura
Akaroa Lions Club
Burnham Military Camp
Rotary Club of Christchurch South
Lions Club of Christchurch Pegasus
Lions Club of Riccarton Waimairi
Lions Club of Christchurch South

Carnation Day is our Society's biggest fundraiser of the year and all the money collected stays in Canterbury, providing support, information and education for people with Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson's.

Make a Carnation Day Donation Online!

Donating online is easy:

  1. Click on the Give A Little link, which will take you directly to the MS+PD Give A Little profile page

  2. Click on 'Donate'

  3. Fill in the donation page - Don't be alarmed by the transaction fee they charge, this reduces the fees charged to the charity, which means more money goes to support those with MS and Parkinson's in the community.

  4. Registration with Give A Little is optional and donations may be anonymous if that is your wish.
